Jason Farese

Tuesday, August 16, 2016 @ 2:38 AM

Sunday i lost a good friend, Jason Farese, along with his wife Lea & 2 more couples  (Michael Perry, his wife Kim, Austin Poole & his wife Angie) to a plane crash in Alabama. Jason Farese was a man that I thought the world of. A man that was a fierce competitor. A man that new the game of baseball. A man that was a tremendous coach and leader. A man that loved to win. A man that would forever more chew a umpire out. Lol. Jason played in many of my tournaments. I always looked forward to seeing him at the ball field. He was a coach that didn't care who he played or what game times I gave him. He was signed up to play with us this coming weekend in Fulton. I usually texted him a couple times a week making sure he was coming to my tournament or trying to talk him into playing. Or just anything in general. Anything I ever needed Jason always helped me. Whether I needed a lawyer,  a dentist or football tickets, Jason never let me down. Richey Sports staff & umpires will miss you Jason and I will miss you brother. I have been directing baseball tournaments for a long time and I gotta say Jason Farese is my favorite USSSA baseball coach of all times. Our prayers goes out to the family and friends. We love you Jason, you will never be forgotten.
